4. Sparkassen Classic Grand Prix for motorcycles and sidecars

Only a few days and the AMC presented the 4th Sparkassen Classic Grand Prix at the Schleizer Dreieck. In the 2 and 3 wheel classes are the driver fields completely filled since a lot of weeks. Not only in the races of the partners like Grab the flag or IHRO.
At the Grab the Flag, in Germany unique for vintage racing, the last year’s winners and racers Thomas Fritsch – Austria; Mike Farral – UK and Sebastian Gutsch – Germany, are again at the start. The IHRO races, again with the classic pushing Start, include from 2009 to an international Championship, the winner of these year will get in 2010 in Schleiz exclusive a start in a Paton from the house of Paolo Biraghi. In the starters list you will find names like Luke Notton – UK and Ives Clauser-SUI.
The AMC developed since 2005 also his own classic race classes. Now in 2009 the Classic Sidecar Cup will be divided into 3 events (Superside World Championship Schleiz, Oschersleben Endurance World Championship and the Classic GP), with 6 races, and the sidecar-artists are fighting for the Classic Sidecar Motorcycle Classic trophy in their own small championship.
It is the first time in this class, that the Englishman James Walker is at the start. He will drive also the IHRO races and the AMC Classic/Post Classic with it´s Bimota Ringhini, alongside Luke Notton on a Yamaha TZ. Also at the start are Thomas Wittig and Stefan Tennstädt, they will fight in the AMC Post Classic for the victory. In the Classic solo class, the fans certainly Heinz Rosner firmly press the thumb, that after the bad luck with the gasoline last year, he will stay in the first line this year.
The AMC solo class is also very European designed, also from Scandinavia, three fast men registered with your machine, as in Northern Europe in classic races off to hand you a description of Ove Koch from Sweden read.
